Retreat Center

One ministry of the Capuchin Province of St. Mary is a youth and family ministry Retreat Center located on 30 acres along the banks of the Hudson River in the Hudson Highlands in Garrison, New York.  Capuchin Youth & Family Ministries is a dynamic ministry that provides a place for parishes or schools to hold their retreats.  The Retreat Center consists of two buildings surrounded by acres of beautiful property. The 30 acres property includes woodlands, open fields, picnic tables, a Labyrinth, and quiet areas for outdoor reflection. 
  
St. Francis Retreat Center can accommodate up to 72 guests.  It has a spacious conference room, a beautiful and prayerful chapel, a large and well equipped kitchen and dining room, and meeting rooms.  It has overnight accommodations for guests on two floors.  On each floor are four rooms with 8 beds, one room with one bed, and one room with 5 beds and separate bathroom and shower facilities for adults on the retreat.

St. Clare Hall houses the administrative offices and a gymnasium/meeting room for recreation, larger gatherings and closing masses for many of the retreats.









The program staff of Capuchin Youth & Family Ministries, consists of experienced Capuchin Friars, Lay Youth Ministers, and Cap Corps Volunteers. We are available to provide day and overnight retreats for your group.  We also offer CYFM for rent, and groups provide the program themselves, and have the option of using the services of our Chef, or providing for their own meals.
