The Vocations Office offers several discernment weekends and days of recollection each year for men who are interested in the Capuchin way of life. These events provide an opportunity to learn just what the Capuchins are all about and to meet other men who are also discerning God's call in their life.
Throughout these weekends and days of recollection, there are many opportunities for private and communal prayer, reflection, and social gatherings, as well as presentations on discernment, religious life and the Capuchin Franciscan charism.
The next scheduled discernment weekends and days of recollection for 2013-2014 are listed below.
Day of Prayer, Silence, and Reflection- March 1- St. Michael Friary, Brooklyn, NY
Discernment Weekend- March 21-23 - Notre Dame Spirituality Center, Ipswich, MA- presentations by Fr. Jim Gavin, O.F.M., Cap.
