Ministry through Education
Capuchins are involved in education at all levels: elementary through graduate school. Some teach and minister in colleges, universities and seminaries throughout the country. Others develop and deliver religious education programs designed to foster the faith development of believers as well as to offer catechetical instruction to those new to Christian faith.
Through all of these efforts, the friars aspire to help others attain not simply knowledge, but the deeper gifts of understanding and wisdom through which human lives are made whole and our world made more just. By joining with others in exploring the depth and breadth of creation, the friars endeavor to help bring the gospel of Jesus into clear view as a crucial lens through which we come to glimpse the mystery of life.
