CYFM is committed to the spiritual and physical health and safety of our community. The severity of the COVID-19 situation reminds us of the importance of taking care of ourselves and our responsibility toward others.
For the common good and the good of our community, CYFM is suspending retreats and programs through March 29, 2020. We deem it prudent to do our part to cut back on opportunities for the transmission of the virus.
This means that the Girls’ DDA retreat, scheduled for March 27 – 29 will not take place then. We recognize that the team has put a lot of work into preparations, and there were a number of young ladies who were planning on participating. If it can be rescheduled, we will.
We are also canceling the Living Stations of the Cross as the actors would otherwise have had to be practicing during this time of suspension.
As of this writing, there are no known cases of COVID-19 nor positive tests among CYFM staff nor, to our knowledge, of anyone who has been at our center. Still, we will take this opportunity of the suspension to have a deep cleaning done on the CYFM building
Many times recently, we have been encouraged to wash our hands. To that we add, then fold them in prayer, especially for those who are suffering from the coronavirus, as well as for medical professionals, caregivers, and all those who are working to combat the disease.
We will continue to monitor this developing situation closely and comply with recommendations and instructions from our local and state health departments.
If you have further questions or need additional information, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 845-424-3609.
We appreciate your cooperation in keeping CYFM in prayer and as healthy as possible.
Peace, and all Good,
