Pope Francis declared 2025 to be a jubilee year for the entire Church, with the theme being Pilgrims of Hope. The Province participated in the celebration of this grace-filled year with a jubilee pilgrimage to the St. Frances Cabrini Shrine in northern Manhattan on Friday, April 11. The shrine is one of a few pilgrimage sites officially designated by the Archdiocese of New York for the jubilee year. Dozens of our parishioners and partners in ministry joined the friars for a bilingual Mass at the shrine. They also received the sacrament of reconciliation to obtain the indulgence associated with the jubilee holy year. Together, we prayed for our world, particularly for Mother Earth, for immigrants, for international peace, for a greater respect for life, and for an increase in vocations.
